The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Drilling Association formed in early 2009, following many years of discussion among geotechnical drillers in Maryland. The moving force behind the formation of a regional chapter was the need for a qualified organization to provide an outlet for professional training and education for geotechnical and environmental drillers at the local level. The chapter will also attempt to keep its members abreast of regulatory changes through dinner meetings and other events decided upon by the membership.
A board of directors was elected in 2009 and incorporation as a non-profit organization was achieved in the State of Maryland in early 2010.
The Mid Atlantic Chapter follows the rules and guidelines established by the National Drilling Association.
Officer positions begin on June 1 and last for a 2 year term period.
